I've been playing around with it for just over a week now, getting used to the controls and to full manual (finally!). One thing I keep getting slightly off is my exposure times but I'm getting the hang of it just about. The auto mode on it is very good but there are times when using zoom that it fails to focus as it's out of it's focusing range, but that's a small point.
Ordered some filters with it and so far only the ND4 has come so I've been experimenting with long exposure water shots. Once I get some results I'm happy with I'll upload them here...but it's tricky finding waterfalls in the middle of central London
One of the best features is the ability to set the exposure up to 60secs! I've yet to use it as working up to 30secs so far seems already enough. I did some night time shots of Westminster but keep getting the street lighting and the backlit Big Ben over exposed so I'll need to practice more. I'm hoping there'll be an improvement if I attach the ND4 next time.
So, start of summer hols and just waiting for my polarising and UV filter to kick start my new photography phase in life. I'm changing my course to Photography & Digital Imaging which I'm starting in October so I'm dead excited.
